Yup, two SOA pics in one day. Might start on a third for my little sister, might not.
Anyway, I'm running a small plot involving the Firekin, a race of massive lions dwelling in the desert that worship the goddess of the hunt, Finar-Si. It's said that the firekin have the blood of the goddess themselves. However, after the king Makadari died of old age he left behind two sons- Mwali and Kui. Mwali left the desert, being the youngest of the two princes and having no claim to the throne or the lionesses, he sought out a mate for himself. Kui remained as king for a short time. He was deceived and bred with a lioness from the pridelands, learning of it only moments before his premature death.
With Kui's offspring being halfbred, Mwali is the last living firekin with the royal bloodline. Enraged by the weakness infecting the firekin, Makarari's spirit is driving Mwali to produce heirs to their bloodline. Mwali's growing older so he won't have the strength to overcome Kui's many half-breed offspring. A litter between Mwali and a firekin huntress who supports the traditional ways of her pride was birthed. Massive cubs who will be trained as a small force of rebels against the current leader of the firekin. Unknown to them, they'll have to compete with a force of rebel rogues already seeking to end the terror of the firekin and their tradition of making slaves out of any that wonder the desert.
Sinbad will be the cub I custom into Mwali's litter, his youngest son and perhaps the most unstable. Decided I should make an organized character sheet for him so I have more examples of how I do them.
he looks rough and tough heheehe love that grin and those tribal marks

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
